"The Man who Met Himself" was one of 9 films selected in the short film category out of over 3000 entries at the Cannes Film Festival.

The film was shot in Super-8 with Kodachrome 40. Nobody will ever know if the filmmakers would have made finalist if they had shot the film any other way, in 16mm, 35mm, mini-dv or HD.

It's cool to see a Super-8 film made by filmmakers who never went to film school and who paid for their camera by selling their mandolin, do so well. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]
